He wasn't as big as this guy, but was pretty close and just as ugly. I thought about coaxing him onto a paper plate and throwing him back out into the pouring deluge, but then I remembered that Hawaiian centipedes can move like lightning, have a vicious bite and deliver a powerful stinging neurotoxin through tiny hooks on their (many) legs that can cause paralysis for days, even weeks. So, I er... vacuumed him up. I'm sure he'll get his revenge by revisiting me in one of my future nightmares.
