I hate to say it, but I believe Bush to be 'untouchable'.

So many things have happened under this administration and still it carries on.

Perhaps when we as humans understand that some people will only act selfishly, wether it is good for the majority or not, a change may come.

I for one will not be holding my breath.

I've never heard of economic problems being grounds for impeachment. In fact, I am sure it isn't. If it were, Hoover and Carter would have been impeached.

I just meant it in the sense that it could be a catalyst, the straw that broke the camel's back, that could cause frustrations over other matters to boil over culminating in an impeachment.

That's ridiculous.

There'll always be some rationale. some spin that'll keep Mister Bush in the seat. Right now, I think that GOP policy is just to wait out Hurricane George 43 until '08.

I don't think it would happen, but I sure hope it could.

Yes. Ironically, while he has been Teflon through his countless misdeeds and screw-ups (thanks to a complacent and complicent Press), Americans can only have their wallets squeezed to a certain extent before all of their ideology and all of the propoganda is cast aside.

If gas cross $3 per gallon, the Republicans will be swept from office. At a certain point, the cost increase will ignite all of the accrued resentments and his Teflon will be sand-blasted.
