Look at the map. Only six states have legislation or proposed legislation that would be friendly to same sex couples and only ONE actually allows marriage.

California, Oregon, Washington, New Hampshire, Maryland, Michigan, Wisconsin... All of these supposed "liberal" states all have bans on same sex marriage.

When will people grow up and admit that this problem is a nationwide epidemic?

Never, they want to perpetuate party line spin.
Eventually, when they get their heads out of their rear ends.
They already do.

It's probably because of the generalization that every southerner is a God loving Christian who hates faggots.

But that's not true. George W. Bush is a Texas yankee and he opposes gay marriage.

But seriously, a single region can't determine the law of the entire nation. It has to be nationwide for it to have so much power.

Religion and Homosexuality dont mix to well. How many Islamic countries do you think allow gay marriage? There are far worse places in the world to be gay than America, thats for sure.
