Yes, it's threatening. Joking? Maybe Usama bin Laden was joking when he said that he was responsible for 9-11. Maybe the Iranian president was "joking" when he said that Israel should be destroyed. Who knows? But if anyone is going to take Usama's comment and Iran's comment seriously then they should atleast be consistent and hold Ann's comment seriously.
