It's not a religion at all. It has religious status for tax purposes and friends in high places who help it to maintain that status.

ABC, Christianity makes far more sense than "nothing created everything".

Anyway, of COURSE they're devices for controlling the human race! That's what society NEEDS. Without rules, there is anarchy. People need to be controlled.
