or less...i think that is crap people spend so much money on purebreds when there are so many puppies in shelters thats where i got my purebred dalmation and she is priceless and i only paid $5.00 for her, and the cost of getting her fixed
$100. Of course you can't get a purebred pup for this, but it's all I'd pay. I received my Cocker Spaniel as a birthday gift, and it cost my friends $650., which is ridiculous. Still, somebody must be paying these crazy prices, because the prices aren't coming down.
Go to a shelter for a wonderful and loving pet. You will not regret adopting a castoff pet.
It depends on if I was going to get the dog for a specific purpose like search and rescue. A purebred dog bred to do this might be well worth a lot of money - especially to the people it might save.
"Go to a shelter for a wonderful and loving pet. You will not regret adopting a castoff pet." I agree entirely. Just say No to The Dog-Breeding Industry. These people make BIG BUCKS breeding dogs incessantly, and we now have as much of a canine global overpopulation problem as we do a human global overpopulation problem.
Yeah but you gotta love those pugs. I mean comeon, one look at a pug and you might as well hand over your wallet.
Eh -- gimme a mutt on the cheap.
I wouldn't buy one, for the reasons given by avalanche, sharky and aplmac. However, I DO enjoy other people's purebred dogs, and I totally agree with um__yeah about PUGS!!!!

Yeah..pugs are great little...investments ;-) Also Shiba Inu is a lovely little dog, they look like a fox. I would own one if I cared about dogs.
I went low-end solely because I'm *not* a dog person. I like puppies and all, but I just wouldn't have one.
Zero. There are too many dogs and cats at the humane societies and dog pounds that need homes.
