Many, many LEGAL non-white immigrants have contributed so much more than some who were born here. Does ballot assume ILLEGAL?
Lets see.
They built the entire United States during the slavery age (1700-1865). Then by 1900, when they had already built everything, the white immigrants came over and took credit for everything that the slaves built.

I see your point concerning slavery of course, but that doesnt excuse gross historic innacuracies.
Besides, the slaves didnt exactly offer their services voluntarily for the good of America did they? Hence the label of "slaves"
^But aren't those settled whites (mostly WASPs) immigrants themselves? It's not like they just appeared there. They had to come from somewhere. But white immigrants during the industrial age did a whole lot too. When slavery went, the government had to think up another form of slavery. Cheap labor camps (usually made up of Italian, Polish, Irish, German immigrants). They'd bring immigrants, most of them being white Europeans, to do the work. So in a sense, whites played a fair share of their own slavery in the US.
They'd work:
-18 hours a day
-Just enough money to survive in a shack
-Terrible working conditions, many died
-No rights
-They basically worked to survive

How about: Civil Rights, Sports, Literature, Business, Science, Arts and Entertainment?
Plenty of white immigrants have made valuable contributions in all these fields and more besides (chiefly politics) but I guess they weren't included in case someone mentioned the genocide of the native american population.
