Oh man! Ima gonna have a sucha wet dream tonight! WOO HOO!
Umm, let's see. He was poor and discriminated against and this was the only way he could protest the racist white society that kept him poor and powerless. This man is a hero and he should not recieve the death penalty (or any penalty whatsoever) if he'll promise to write some childrens books and maybe make a statement saying gangs are bad.
I guess the KFC closed earlier than usual. What do you think widehead?
lol @ herzog's comment.
^I'm getting a Tookie Williams flashback...Dozens of demonstrators will protest in front of the governers office demanding his release.
So widehead: would you deem this man A) a hero for standing up to the man, or B) a victim of the mans racist policies? Or C) both? Because I know you're not going to say he's a murderer.
Oh wait, I didn't notice he was from lousiana. Well there you go, he was traumatized by katrina because bush didn't personally hold his hand and escort him out of the city prior to the hurricane hitting ('george bush hate black people'). There you go, that's why he did it. So in his mind all whites are george bush, who was solely responsible for the suffering in nawlins, and he was simply exacting a just revenge. Case cracked, he is both a hero and a victim.
Brilliant! Obviously the guy is a sick, psychotic individual. Correct answer - his deranged brain!
insanity
its just like that guy colin ferguson who got on a ny commuter train and just started shooting people randomly. some tried to say it was because he was racist and hated white people. no matter. if you hate another race, thats pretty disturbing to begin with. if you hate another race and you carry out acts of violence against that race, then you're insane, plain and simple. maybe his socio-economic condition caused him stress and he snaped, but that still means he had/has mental illness to begin with. a sane person handles their anger and keeps it in check. an insane person does what this man did.
Uh oh, widehead. At least one B&W poster has got to be really pissed because you beat him to it.
I suggest there is absolutely no way of even speculating without knowing *some* details.
who^^ exactly is saying that a. he's a hero for standing up to the man, or b. he's a victim of the Man? It's sounding sniffly, more of the non-argument argument.. Here, have some tissues.

Jyl: I suggest you research a Mr. Tookie Williams for examples of black murderers being held up as either victims or heros.
nawlins by herzog on May 21, 2006 9:02pm nawlins you say! nawlins! well of course he's innocent! nawlins is a cespool thanks to the feds. never mind that nagin let hundreds of buses sit empty. never mind that nagin failed to act. if this man killed 5 people or 25 people, if he's from nawlins, he's got a free pass! damit! this is not a time of personal responsibility you know. geesh!
(who HERE?.. unless it's your bag to lump everyone in with some extremist.. well I know who to lump you with then ;)
