God tells you to choose between living 200 years, but spending the last 10 years in total agony, or dying at 50, but having a fast, painless death, and never seeing it coming...

NOTE: After you make the choice, you would be made to never remember which choice you made...

200 years with slow painful death over last 10 years
Die at 50 with fast painless death I never see coming.

COMMENTS:
I would accept the long life and try to negotiate my way out of the agonizing death.

the long life. Hopefully by 190 they will have something to address the pain.

Bring it on, and make it fast.

if I knew I had to see this world 200 years from now I'd end my life so messily :)

Of course, nobody caught the way around it...Take the 200 years, commit suicide at age 189.

This world is trash anyway so why live 200 years of this agony and then die with even worse agony.
by Warden on Mon May 29, 06 1:38pm [+]

Friggy -- but what if those last 10 years were miserable due simply to a botched suicide attempt?
by xxxxxxxx on Fri Jun 09, 06 5:31pm [+]

hmm... i'd rather die sooner... yep... spending more time in heaven then here sounds good to me.

Voted : Die at 50 with fast painless death I never see coming.
No matter how long you live, it's over before you know it. Remember when you were a kid and you thought something was taking "forever"? Your life is the "forever" you will realize was only an instant. It's the agonizing death that will be the real the "forever", because there will be no way to contemplate it once it's over.

Since you do not know why you are living so long, you would be afraid of dying every day until you do. Every day past 110 would be emotional torment.

Either of these 2 things might occur:

A: I think you would probably become so bored with life and so frightened that you would never die, and your soul would become so tired, and needful of “rest”, you would probably commit suicide.

B: You might start to believe God had selected you as his favorite and might never let you die, so when your 10 years of agonizing death came around, you would be enraged at God for his trickery. You would suffer a lot more than just physically.
