I have a theory about laziness versus degrees North of the Equator.

that people from far Northern countries like Sveden, Canada,etc.
have serious work ethic.

Here in the Caribbean, we know darned well there's no winter coming,

Toiling in the fields? If you hadn't noticed the entire center of the North American continent is called the bread basket of the world. Have you ever taken a plane over the US? The whole country is woods and farms aside from the coast and the cities.
Absolutley Americans work more than Europeans, don't believe it, you can easily google it and find out for yourself. I know MANY people who work 10-12 hours a day.
And we don't get nearly the amount of vacation time that they do in europe.
In the United Arab Emerates the people get everything for free; houses, education, everything. The only people who work in that country are the foreigners they import. The UAE nationals don't do anything - ever.
