Lmao, I like the way you casually throw in that little bomb at the end, dying 24 hours later makes somewhat of a difference!
To answer the question, I dont think I would. The Second world war sparked a mass of technological progress, and believe it or not probably brought some stability to the world at is conclusion. On the other hand, I dont know if I could live with my conscience If I had the chance to prevent all those people dying, though a world war may have been inevitable whether it was in 1939 or 1960. I dont think I would have stopped the first world war, as it caused a massive restructuring of power and the scoail classes in Europes major nations. For the first time people began to consider that they could be just as good, if not better than someone born into nobility.
I would go back in time over and over again. I just saw this movie on cable called Sounds of Thunder about this group that goes back in time and kills a Butterfly in the Dinosaur age and it causes these ripple effects in the future. I wouldn't go for the dying 24 hours later deal though, so I'm taking that out of the equation. It would be awesome to go back to different points in time. Problem is though, sometimes I would feel like causing mischief and probably would.
I'd bite the bullet for the cause, even though it would screw up history.
