Don't kick them out but they should pay taxes and go by the same rules as the rest of society. And not using reflectors at night is against the law and they can get ticketed for it.
Let them stay and apply theft free citizenship to the rest of us too.
Interesting, I didn't know that.
Its not fair

I have many Amish friends and they are just good people who like to be apart from this ratrace of a culture we have. They are pretty much self sufficent and shouldn't have to pay for our extavagances. If a disaster ever strikes the U.S., all the city folk will be lined up at Amish farms begging for food.
Make 'em handle roadside waste pick-up instead. Hey, don't give me those looks. They're *used* to getting dirty...
interesting. I don't have a child, but my taxes go to schools to pay for their education. Shouldn't I be exempt from taxes too? Also, can I start my own little amish sect so that I can get a group of tax dodgers to not pay taxes? Good for them that they want to live like they do. as long as they pay taxes.

The Amish pay the same taxes as everyone else (income, property, sales, etc.) Old Order Amish sects which were started before 1950 are exempt from Social Security taxes ONLY and they don't receive Social Security benefits. I wish people would stop spreading this myth.
