COMMENTS:
this is a great opportunity for the US, over the open ocean, fire some lasers and blow up this missile. that will end their nuclear ambition, if we prove that they will not be able to deliver that weapon.

No I'm not concerned one bit that another country is testing long range missiles because if the US can have them everyone should have them!
(yawn) Negotiating tactic ... just like all of the other 'End of the World' scenarios that have been hyped over the past several decades.
The North Korean test is a political stunt designed to grab some attention. Just like the decision to 'deploy' the US 'missile defense system.' Neither has been successfully proven to work.
North Korea can barely generate electricity and they're working on intercontinental missles. I wouldn't be concerned. Everything they build is shit anyway.
I am! We should all be concerned.
I'll worry in ten years, when we're all done with Iraq. Cathexis, that wasn't an actual deployment, just a big show for the benefit of the North Koreans. Seems we can play politics as well. Pictures of war games, indeed.
Kind of I do not worry about anything I know the Lord knows what is going to happen so I am not concerned in that way. But I find it interesting that we are looking toward the Middle East only. We seem to not even consider N.K. or China at all when the two of these countries can and will cause some world wide problems that the U.S. and Europe and Russia combined couldn't even begin to deal with.
I'm not concerned, I live in Europe, out of the range of the missiles, lol.
