COMMENTS:
I'll admit -- Coulter doesn't really concern me ... hate will always be with us. But I do find it distrubing that an obvious hate- monger can so easily and consistently get national public media attention.
I have to go with this choice, even though I wish I felt I could honestly say it was #2.

Annie is a goofed-up degenerate who is riding the wave of the rightwing takeover of American media and the political correctness that prevents the media from covering rightwing hate propagndists objectively.
I wish she'd just go away already.
The lunatic fringe of both the right and left will always have a voice because they're views are so outrageous that the media can't help but give them a forum to talk. What do Michael Moore,Al Frankin,Randy Rhodes and other "regressives" contribute to the national dialogue other than hate?
^ Nice apologia.
^It may be apologia but the point is a sound one, the far left and the far right get air time because people love to listen to cranks.
Corrupt: There is no 'Far Left' in this country that is getting air time. Only people who have been labeled such. Also, the non-far-right people do not spout the same Eliminationist propaganda. They are far from equivalent.
^Really Cathexis you mean Liberal talker Randy Rhodes didn't get in trouble with the secret service when she played a skit that suggested that Bush should be killed?Or how about Mike Mclough who calls for the arrest of the Bush administration every night on his broadcast? Is that not "Eliminationist"?
Corrupt: Never heard of them. Obviously they don't get the play that Coulter, Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, ad nauseum get.
I could say a great many things about Miss COulter, but here's the one thing that might do most good for her. Pray for her, folks.
So you say Cathexis but a simple search will bring up the names.Hell even Drudge covered the Randy Rhodes thing. Sure their might not be many liberal voices in talk radio but the print media and most of television is dominated by the left. Most editoral pages are written from the liberal perspective.
Have you ever read one of her books? They aren't all full of bile. Not that I agree or anything. I can certainly find some ridiculous stuff said by the left. I don't even need to leave this site to do that. There is a "far left" getting air time. Michael Moore for one.
FF: Surely you jest. Here is one little nugget that appeared in her book "High Crimes and Misdemeanors, The Case Against Bill Clinton" (Regnery, 1998) ... "In this recurring nightmare of a presidency, we have a national debate about whether he 'did it, even though all sentient people know he did. Otherwise there would be debates only about whether to impeach or assassinate." Bile, my friend. Lots of bile.
The devil comes in all disguises. ;)

The Far Left media in this country are ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS. And that include most of today's newspapers.
