Both are beautiful, (yes, even Texas in places) but I hate the cold.

since I like to live far away from people, Texas would suit me fine.
Plenty of sunshine and wide open spaces.
PA is too cold for me.

I lived in both states, I would definitely pick TEXAS! PA is way too old for me! It's also way too cold up there! Nothing again PA but I would rather pay for a brand new 2 story house for $200,000 than an old house, same size for $500,000 up in PA.
I want to move to Texas, buy a ranch next to Bush, and throw trash in his front yard.
It's got to be Western PA for me. Philly can suck it.
No knock on Texas, but I hear it's filled with beaners now.
