And why is it always Black History Month, or Black Music Month, or Kwanzaa, or Juneteenth that gets people all bothered? Ever notice that it's never National Dairy Month that gets people steamed up?

Where have I ever stated anything RACIST? If anything, the definition of racism is the recognition good or bad of anything on the basis of race, if anything, the very idea of black history month or black music history month are racist in nature.
My opinion on this has always remained the same. How does "White History Month" sound to you? How about "White Music Month"? Pretty stupid hmm? Well Black History month sounds pretty stupid to me too, for the same reason, I find it offensive. Why can't we just celebrate something like "R&B Music History Month" which recognizes EVERYONE involved with jazz, rap, hip hop, etc, because the association with black music would leave out artists such as Eminem who have made quite a contribution to the music that is being celebrated by Black Music month, but they are going to be left out because they are in fact, not black.
Don't make such ignorant accusations, when you start calling people racist without provocation, you yourself tend to become the very thing you accuse others of.
I think that Cathexis once said something to the effect that it was only one month a year, and that Whites had the other eleven pretty much free and clear.

what? what does this have to do with anything? A gay person walking down the street minding his/her own business is not likely to illicite negative contact based on appearances. Someone who is black or asian or a female on the other hand is black or asian or female in appearance at all times. I don't remember looking at someone who is gay and saying "Hey, he's gay", in fact, I gave a gay guy a ride home from work for more than 2 weeks in my convertible and never even knew he was gay.
Oh, and I continued to give him a ride home for another month while he waited to save up money to get his own car repaired. I fail to see the relevance here.
