COMMENTS:

I had to create one to miss. Even that I would learn to live without.
Many of these items are not appliances, but I get the drift.
Without electricity pretty much all of the items above would be impossible to have and use.
Yeah, I know electricity isn't an appliance.... but you can't have appliances without it.
Just interested -- how are any of the items I listed not appliances? Definition of appliance: noun: a device that is very useful for a particular job (syn: contraption, contrivance, convenience).

Ipod, with computer a close second.
Because I'm usually up after midnight writing (or *trying*), and no light would mean my having to rely on candles. And I always burn myself when I use them.
