When being treated by a physician for pain or injury, they often ask what is the degree of pain from 1 to 10, with 10 being the worst possible pain. So I am curious, what is the most physically painful thing that could happen to a person?

passing a large kidney stone
sitting on a bicycle after the seat falls off
landing face first on a concrete fence after falling off motorcycle at 50mph
Cluster Headaches
4th degree burns
labor (childbirth)
Testicles flattened like a pancake
trapped in a coffin & being eaten alive, slowly, by thousands of bull ants
Your stomach serves as an incubator for an alien fetus
Drawn and Quartering
Toothache

COMMENTS:
Cluster Headaches are reportedly worse than kidney stones which can be worse than child birth. I think severe burns covering the entire surface of the body would be pretty bad.

Imagine millions of bull ants crawling through your nose and ears and mouth, carrying away small pieces of your body and stinging you with their painful venom! Nasty!

Or, a close second, would be sitting in front of FOX NEWS for more than a few minutes, listening to all the loud talking heads trying to convince me to go an kill innocent Arabs and muslims because my life is in imminent danger!

Well, I cna't choose just one, but I can describe the worst pain I've ever had to cope with, waking up in the middle of surgery, knowing that all the drugs don't work a lick.

Just thinking about having your stones crushed has to be the worst pain in the world.

Being boiled alive would be a bit of a pain in the but aswell.

In medevial England those who were convicted of treason were executed by being drawn and quartered.The condemned had his/her four limbs tied to four different horses all the horses were sent off in four different directions.As the person was being pulled apart the executioner then cut them in half and pulled their interails out before their eyes.
