HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT FLUORESCENT LIGHTS?

I hate them. Sure they are cheaper, but every time I am beneath them it feels like someone is boring a hole through my skull and pouring mosquitoes inside. Does it really have to be so bright? Is ultraviolet radiation really so great? Do I need to see into the pores of the fellow next to me?

It doesn't seem to bother most people--or..?

They are a blinding, brilliant light from heaven
I enjoy them
I am indifferent towards them
I dislike them
I hate them
They make me want to shoot everyone

Have to admit, I have an aversity to them. Don't know what it is ... the cold, flat spectrum that seems to suck the vibrancy out of any surface ... the almost imperceptible flicker that seems to tense and fatigue every muscle in my body ...

Maybe it's teh observation that in so many horror movies, there is a dark corridor or office space with one or two badly flickering fluorescent lights at the far end ... lol

I like 'em. I installed a set in my kitchen. Brightens things up considerably and they don't use much electricity.

"Feel" about what? Fluorescent lights? Same way I feel about incandescent light, I'd think. Of course fluorescent lights are cheaper, which probably accounts for their proliferation.

I hate blue fluorescent lights. It is damaging for your eyes and should be banned.

I hate unnatural light in general. Fluorescent lights are the worst.
