No, he's just dead. He died back in December 2001. It was in the Middle Eastern and Asian news media. His death was announced on the 26th december, but he died ten days before from the complications from a lung infection and kidney failure.

Religious people frequently go on blind faith believing their great messiah is still alive, but you know Jinn, Elvis is still dead, Jimmy Hoffa is still dead, and Osama bin Lade is still dead. That's despite confused pretenders claiming them to be still alive.
