COMMENTS:
I've been taking French for the last 2 years and I really like it! I want to learn Spanish too and then either Italian or German. Chinese or Japanese would be cool too. Other languages are great and I really like learning about their respective cultures and traditions.
When I was a senior in high shcool, myself and several other AP students almost got the county to go for a Latin course, only to have the funding pulled for the varsity football team. We threatened them that we'd screw up any and all tutoring they received if they didn't pull out a perfect season. When they lost during Week 6 of the season, you never saw paler lifeforms.

We had one year of Latin we could take in high school, it's one of the few classes I made A's in! And now it's been so long ago.. I wish I at least had the textbook.

Actually, I'd like to learn English (a heathen, bastard tongue) before I learn Esperanto. Germanic languages are tough, especially for a native speaker who stutters.
