sports : ULTIMATE FIGHTING : IS IT FAKE?

I have a hard time believing that there is not a fatality at every match, if it was a real fight.

Don't you think someone who is trained in martial arts can find a way to deliever a fatal blow, if he wanted to?

Sure there are blows and kicks, resulting in blood spilling everywhere, and sure it looks and sounds better than boxing or wrestling, but I wonder if they all sit down before the match and say "ok, let's make sure that nobody kill someone tonight" - which is fine but that's collusion, and not the "No rules" all out fight they are promising the viewers.

Admittedely, its suprising that there havent been any fatalaties to date (to the best of my knowldge), but I think its real.

Most really dangerous moves are against the rules now, like stomping to the head (sick bastards), strangling, gouging, fish hooks etc, and the referees stop the fights if someone looks really hurt.

Having said that, the human body can be suprisingly weak sometimes, and I think its only a matter of time before someone dies in the ring.

Oh, and ultimate fighters dont receieve the same multitude of blows to the head that boxers do, even if the blows are more likely to cause lacerations.

Punching kicking etc I have done, but I could NEVER stomp on someones head, thats just an animal, murderous thing to do. Not unless they had committed a GRIEVOUS crime of some sort against me.

No MMA is quite real as you can tell by the blood that spills when they strike eachother.I think the only reason why there is more blood in the UFC that in traditional boxing is because the UFC allows people to elbow and elbows tend to open cuts.

In Japan elbows are not allowed and the matches tend to be less bloody however organizations like Pride fighting championships allows stomping,kneeing and even kicking a down opponet.Even still Pride has execellent judges who stop the fight when they see a figther is unable to defend himself.

its real fight but they do have an unspoken common ethical code like no one is going to knee you in the balls or break your neck; thats just not cool
