Hypothetical:

Assuming that science finds a way to clone dinosaurs from discovered dinosaur DNA.

Would you think controlled and selected re-creating of dinosaurs to be a good idea and beneficial to the world, or would you find such a discovery bad news, unethical and perhaps dangerous to the world?

Totally AGAINST it!
Sure, if it is tightly controlled
Just the herbivores please
Only if we can slaughter them for the meat

COMMENTS:
Despite the sensationalism of movie dinosaurs, they would pose no threat to man. Modern weaponry would annihilate them if we chose.

The dinosaur I'd like to see brought back by cloning is the honest politician/statesman who worked to make America better for the common man.

I see no real reason to bring back dinosaurs other than for entertainment purposes.Moreover to bring back a species of animals just so you can lock them up in the zoo is cruel.Perhasp if we could use the dinosaurs as a food source then I would support it.Imagine all the starving people you can feed with one T-Rex. mrgreen

I really wouldnt be surprised if there's a cloned mammoth somewhere. Or at least an elephant that is part mammoth. Enough well preserved specimens have been found to do it.

I'm for it! The thing is, though, even if it happened, the dinosaur would probably die very quickly because all the diseases would have 65+ million years of evolution ahead of it!

I do not think we should bring back dinosaurs because they eat people and their will be less things and humans on earth.
