political : COLORADO THE COOLEST STATE [+] ballot by USRocks ACTIVE Sun Jul 23, 06 - Fri Apr 17, 09 I was just recently in Colorado and I noticed how patriotic people were to their state. The Colorado state flag was everywhere. The mixture of endless plains and mountains with wild buffalo roaming where they want made for different scenery than what I am used to in Jersey. I think it's amazing that only 4 million people live in Colorado which is slightly larger than the UK...just to give you an idea. I left left Denver International Airport and headed towards Colorado Springs home of the U.S. airforce academy...basically a really nice college. People were really nice they sort of have a western culture but not to much like in Texas. It is sort of a mix with western and Native American culture. The Native American population has nearly doubled there in a few years. Colorado even has cool license plates. Note: for all you guys the girls there are amazing. Anyway I have to say that Colorado in my oppinion is probably the best state that I have visited and I have gone to many. I was wondering how many people have gone there and thought the same thing. The picture is of Colorado's flag. I put this under the political section since it is a state and it sort of fits best here.
