It shouldn't matter.
And don't forget that they put Him up on a cross after a sham trial.
He might have been. Ultimately, Christ is no color and NO religion.
This was a puzzle growing up Catholic, the pictures on my mother's wall all depicted him as blue eyed, blonde and white.
I heard he was automatic from 20 ft.
Yes, like Sammy Davis Jr.
A black Jew like Sammy Davis Jr. I mean.
you know those halos they always draw around the head of jesus? it could have been a 80's style afro, with the sun reflecting off it :)

maybe not BLACK BLACK but a lot darker than he is portrayed in most Christian propaganda. If he existed at all in the form that is claimed, he was undoubtedly Middle Eastern. If Christians can't handle that, they should commit suicide.
I agree with Keith. I guess some people want to personalise jesus and make him appear to be from there own "race"

Yes and he was also the original socialist. After all he was all about feeding the poor and helping the needy.
Not black as in Afro-American. He wasn't white either. He was Jewish so um...
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Corrupt - just because you want to feed the poor and help the needy, it doesn't mean you are a socialist. A socialist is someone that wants to force people to collectivise. Jesus, on the other hand was trying to inspire people to CHOOSE to be giving and sharing.
He turned water into wine, not malt liquor. He fed 5000 people with loaves and fishes, not fried chicken and grits. He didn't have a fat, white babay-momma .
Nobody needs to be forced into socialism, it should be an easy choice given the alternative. This is a humour ballot so I wont bang on about it, but Socrates, you know what you say is slanted by prejudice.
Beelzabubba has a point wine is more if a white guys drink.

Steelhamster- "you know what you say is slanted by prejudice." No, it is fair and balanced ;p
Meanwhile, wasn't Jesus a descendent of the slaves that left Egypt? What race were the slaves of Egypt? Well, the Egyptians themselves were of a tanned skin colour. It is likely though, that most of their slaves were conquered and captured foreigners. The chances that they were black is quite likely. Reflecting on that maybe he was black. Not that it matters. By the way, I am not Christian. :)
He might not have been black but maybe mixed, but definitely was a person of color.
If he was a descendant of the Egyptians then he was black.
who cares? i dont care what color he is jesus is jesus i think
Voted : No
i think just because he called someone brother that doesn't mean he was black, i just think that he might have been a tone a middle east person
