I would tell if there was something really awful going on that the public has a right to know about. Loyalty is important, but some things are more important. I would never want to hear gossip, much less spread it.

I can't bear to detray someone or share secrets, I'm tight with that stuff since it'd rot my conscience. BUT there are things about Myself I keep secret, even if I have to fib a little :) these things are classified differently in my head.
