I'm not a big fan of popularity or influence when you're deciding who the 'best' is, so I've gone for Soundgarden. The most talented musically and vocally, and the most original. They've also influenced the mighty Tool though I didn't let that affect my decision.

Grunge music sucked. It was total crap that took no talent what so ever. All they had to do was mumble into the microphone over a bunch or distorted guitar noise. It is nothing more than a dated 1990s relic that has no place in the 21st century.

Nirvana are the best grunge band, they are the originals, and probably one of the best bands on the face of earth, too bad lead vocals Kurt Cobain died.
