Do we just kiss their asses so much that we actually feed their greedy egos and make them even wealthier?

Are we the ones to blame for putting people on a pedestal and showering them with our affection just because of how much money they claim to have?

Yes, we love people who flaunt their wealth, but their souls are bankrupt
No, they deserve the attention. They've earned it.
Apparently for a small few, just the Jewish ones

People are naturally fascinated by the wealth of the rich and powerful, a state they can never hope to achieve. So, watching these crappy programs becomes a form of escapism for them from their dreary, oh-so average lives.
